Terms and Conditions – scs visuals

By entering into a collaboration with scs visuals, the client agrees to the terms and conditions set out below.

1. Scope

These general terms and conditions apply to all quotes, assignments, and agreements between scs visuals and the client, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

2. Copyright & Usage

  • All photographs remain the intellectual property of scs visuals, in accordance with Belgian copyright law.

  • The client is granted a non-exclusive license to use the delivered images for personal or business use, as agreed in advance.

  • It is not permitted to edit, apply filters, or distribute the images commercially without written permission.

  • scs visuals reserves the right to use the images for its own portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed before the assignment.

3. Delivery

  • The agreed number of edited images will be delivered via an online gallery, within 2 to 4 weeks after the shoot, unless specified otherwise.

  • RAW (unedited) files will not be delivered.

4. Payment

  • Payment is due within 14 days after the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed.

  • In the event of late payment, administrative costs and/or interest may be charged.

5. Cancellation

  • If the assignment is cancelled within 2 months of the scheduled date, 30% of the quoted amount will be charged as compensation.

  • If the assignment is cancelled within 14 days of the shoot, 50% of the quoted amount will be invoiced.

  • In case of force majeure (such as illness, accident, or severe weather), an alternative arrangement will be discussed in mutual agreement.

6. Liability

  • scs visuals cannot be held liable for any damage, loss, or delay due to force majeure or technical issues.

  • In case of technical failure or data loss, liability is limited to a refund of the paid amount or, if feasible, a reshoot.

7. Changes

  • Minor changes in location, timing, or group size can be communicated up to 48 hours in advance.

  • Major changes may affect the price and scheduling.
